The network was launched in 2021 to connect researchers and engineers developing thermophotovoltaic converters
The main objectives of the network are to
- Facilitate communication among members,
- Enhance the visibility of TPV research and technology,
- Build consensus on various aspects of TPV science and technology, including metrology and figures of merit,
- Identify gaps in knowledge, technology, and supporting tools.
